Awakening Journey Course Applications

What is your application process?

Start by contacting us. Your responses on this application may be enough for us to accept you into a course. If we need more information or you would like to discuss aspects of your application in more detail, we’ll contact you to schedule an intake call with a member of our team.

Once you’re accepted into a course, you’ll receive EFT payment information to secure your spot. After making the payment, we’ll send you a more comprehensive preparation package that includes travel guidelines, a course schedule, suggested preparation before your journey, and more. Then you can make travel arrangements and start preparing for the course!

What are the terms of payment?

A 50% non-refundable deposit, payable via EFT, within 7 days of confirmation of course dates. Final payment to be transferred within 3 business days before course.

Can I stay in a private room?

Yes. You can also contact us if you have any questions.

Are there people who should not attend an Awakening Journey Course?

Individuals with personal or family histories of bipolar, schizophrenia, or other personality disorders may be at risk if using plant medicine and doing certain breathwork practices. A strong experience can exacerbate or trigger the onset of these conditions. These risks are addressed in detail in our application process.

Course Experience

How long is the Awakening Journey Course?

Our courses are six days / five nights.

How many participants attend each course?

The course is aimed to work with one individual for the week only. We have found this approach to be most effective.

How many facilitators attend each course?

Two full time facilitators attend each course. Supporting facilitators with specific skills are incorporated when necessary.

What's included in my Awakening Journey experience?

• Plant medicine session

• Accommodation for the duration of the course

• Vegan food prepared fresh daily on-site

• Guided preparation and integration activities

• Tree planting ceremony

• Craft work

• One-on-one check-ins with facilitators

• Meditation, yoga and breathwork practice

• Forest walks and swimming in river

• Transport to and from George Airport (GRJ) if needed at an extra fee

• Follow up integration call post-course

• Preparation and integration written materials

Are flights included?

No. You’ll need to book your own flights to and from George airport (GRJ).
