Yoga
Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice but has developed in promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
The benefits of yoga facilitates many aspects of wellness, including stress management, mental health, healthy balanced eating and sleeping habits.
Pachamama has a serene yoga hall overlooking the forest with a fireplace to keep it cosy on colder days.
Meditation
Meditation is a mental exercise that facilitates attention and awareness.
Vipassana meditation (meaning insight), is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses attention on physical sensations of the body, that informs all our understanding of self.
Various other meditation techniques will also be explored, in order to let the mind be a soulful and resourceful servant and not a tyrannical master.
Plant Medicine
Plants that contain chemicals which create changes in the biochemistry of the human body, are known as plant medicines.
Some plant medicines can create expanded states of consciousness that allow access to deep psychological processes. Besides getting to the roots of trauma it can also facilitates healing and growth. The process of using plant medicines are divided into a preparation phase, the active journey and the integration phase.
Integration phase is important to allow the insights and understanding that one encounters during the journey, to set. They can otherwise fade without integration into our daily life, chores and experiences. Proper integration leads to successful manifestation of new healthy habits and behaviour.
Story Telling
Stories are the simplest and most accessible ingredients for healing and growth. Stories in the form of fables and myths use archetypal forces and characters to express ancient wisdom in insights into the human psyche and patterns.
Archetypes can be understood as instinctual patterns expressing themselves through our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Originating from the deep well of our shared human experience; what Carl Jung referred to as our “collective unconscious”.
These archetypal patterns have been captured over millennia in our myths, fairy tales, our individual dreamscapes and also in our waking lives.
Understanding archetypes and archetypal patterns allows us to experience deep insights into what motivates, frustrates, or satisfies ourselves and others.
Tarrot Reading
Tarot has been in existence for thousands of years. It mirrors the present moment, unwaveringly presenting what is here, now, without judgement or comparison. It focuses on awareness and helps to flesh out the dynamic of a specific intention or issue. The tarot reading is used before the plant medicine journey to clarify the intention and help guide the person through the journey.
Forest Walks
Forest walks are meditative walks that we take in nature to find tranquility and balance. Nature helps us to focus and bring clarity to our lives. Swimming in the beautiful river is also refreshing to the soul and invigorating to the body.
Talisman Making
A talisman is an object that initiates us into the mysteries. It symbolically protects and heals us. Crafting an object with a specific intention in mind, for example to be a guide or to enhance intuition. The talisman is charged afterwards and consecrated with a specific ritual. After the making of the talisman we will also reflect on the talisman to discern the specific individual narrative that is embedded in the creation.

“I would highly recommend this type of treatment to anyone that suffers with depression, anxiety or just needs some clarity on personal issues weighing them down. As for Tertius and Abraham, they were simply amazing.”
